The purpose of this project was to create a 3D resource depicting the external complications of  mastoiditis that could also be presented at conferences. Existing resources mainly depict the intracranial  complications of mastoiditis and existing depictions of the  extracranial complications are mainly graphical showing  broad areas where the abscesses can spread without  showing where they fall relative to the surrounding  anatomical structures or where their origin point is.
