Head and Neck Anatomical Sculpture

The purpose of this facial sculpture was intended to display the superficial branches of the Facial Nerve (CN VII) including the cervical, buccal, temporal, marginal mandibular, posterior auricular, and zygomatic branches. It also shows two deeper branches of the nerve the stylohyoid branch and digastric branch.

Process Work

Before starting work on the physical sculpture the different elements to include were planned out through several sketches of the relevant anatomical structures.
