The intention of this project was to create a digital pen and ink drawing of the anatomy of either a hand or foot. For the purposes of this project, a hand was chosen and the intended output of the project was to create an illustration displaying the different layers of tendons and muscles in the phalanges. Several anatomical studies of hand anatomy both deep and superficial were created before starting on a final sketch.

The sketch was then brought into Adobe Photoshop. Before starting on drawing the hand, a couple of digital brush studies were done to prepare for drawing the hand in a pen and ink style.
